Petunia ended up needing TPLO on her rear leg just recently. We consulted with Dr. McCally, and he ended up doing our girl’s surgery. He was kind enough to also remove the plate in her original leg (since it was healed and no longer needed) at no cost to us. The surgery went off without a hitch. I would come here again no question for specialty surgery.

This duo of surgeons are truly amazing! They did surgery to repair my English Bulldog Maddee’s ACL injury & airway issues. Not only am I appreciative of both surgeons partnering together for a complex surgery, but I have spoken with Dr McCally several times. He has an amazing disposition and truly cares for his patients. The support care & office staff are no different! On surgery day, you are guided through the process. Maddee even got all the snuggles by Ashley while she was waiting! I see exactly why this team was highly recommended! I also forgot to mention, I called our primary care vet’s office to provide an update. I was informed they were happy Maddee was back home & that the medical records from the surgery were already in her chart. This was within an hour of me picking her up. Job well done to this team! Our pup tore both her ACLs and we were really overwhelmed with all the advice we were getting. Speaking with Dr. McCally immediately put us at ease. He was so even tempered and patient, he walked us through each option and answered all of our questions regarding surgery and recovery. Dropping her off was emotional but every single staff member was incredibly kind and reassuring. When we called for updates the staff was so responsive and never gave us any indication that we were overbearing, which we probably were based on our stress level. Our dog walked out the day after her bilateral surgery better than she had been walking for the months leading up to it. Following the clear instructions given to us we have seen continued improved in the 6 weeks since. Bianca called us the day after to see how our pup was fairing and encouraged us to reach out with any issues (thankfully there were none). The same level of attention and compassion was evident in our two week post check up. Have nothing but amazing things to say about Dr. Ryan McCally. I have been lucky enough for him to be the surgeon on two of my dog’s procedures. My dog Maggie had two life-threatening issues happening at the same time and he saved her life. She had developed an infection in her uterus and her gallbladder at the same time. My blue nose was referred to Saguaro Veterinary Surgery for a torn CCL repair. We just finished up with our 2 week check up after the surgery and I’m very happy we went with Saguaro for the procedure. The staff is all very kind and the doctor was kind and straight forward about everything. We were able to get her consultation scheduled very quickly and they were able to do the surgery same day. My dog HATES going to the vet but she was actually very excited to go back for the two week visit, the receptionist greeted her by name and everyone was very warm and caring for her. Hopefully we don’t have to deal with any more big surgeries but if we do Saguaro Surgery will be my first call.
